Enrolment in VIP / or any booking any standard appointment shall be subject to £20 deposit fee. (To be paid at time of booking or at least 48hrs prior to appointment)
Grooming deposit
This deposit can be a rolling deposit (most popular) so paid once and should you never incur extra fees/ late cancellation/ no show etc.… you’ll never pay it again.
OR deposit paid and taken off final price of groom made payable at time of the groom. (For example, your dog’s groom is £45 you pay £20 deposit at time of booking the appointment or 48hrs prior to appointment have your dog groomed and pay £25 remaining for the groom then you’ll need to pay £20 deposit for next appointment)
Under the following terms your deposit will be refunded: you move away, your pet is deceased, you decide to use another groomer and have given us over 48hr notice. However, should you incur a fee (late/ flea/ de-matting/ no show etc) this will be deducted out of the deposit and a new deposit required to continue or book an appointment.
I do not want to have to take deposits but after the last few years continuous no shows I am left with no choice after the business making substantial financial losses from this, I also believe it most fair to treat everyone the same, so everyone is expected to pay.
PLEASE IF YOU CANNOT MAKE AN APPOINTMENT OR YOUR LATE, PLEASE CONTACT ME TO AVOID CHARGES!
Cancellations to be made 48hr notice.
Cancellations made with less than 48hr will be charged minimum of your £20 deposit for grooms over £80 a 50% groom charge fee applies. (new deposit required to re book)
NO SHOW - YOU WILL BE CHARGED IN FULL! (2 strikes you’re out)
(Being late has a huge impact on our day which is already packed and booked to suit dogs and breeds coming in, where I can still groom your dog or do what I can in the time I have however not always is this the case and we reserve the right to turn you away and charge fully.)
Please I do not want to charge or turn away clients so please give me a call or a text! I am very understanding that things do happen I’m not cold hearted. Any requirements such as late drop off or late collection MUST be arranged 48hr PRIOR to your appointment NOT when you drop off. We will always try to help and accommodate where we can, but safety will always come first.
Price increases- From time-to-time prices may increase due to ever rising rates.
You may also incur addition fees or price increases due to matting, fleas, late/no notice cancellation. I will always try to give you notice about any price increases or additional fees apply however sometimes it will have an instant effect.

INDUSTRY INFORMATION
Groomers in the UK are not regulated & we are trying to change this. It is important to know your groomer is qualified to a minimum of level 3 diploma level and holds better knowledge of the animals as well as the industry. You can rest assured I am fully qualified 'level 3 diploma' & doing higher level 4!
Ofqual registered is also important.
Find out more www.groomersspotlight.com/rosie-munsonDon't be fooled by 'fully qualified' OR 'level 3' you want to ensure they hold a Ofqual diploma as a minimal qualification.!
We are a registered dog grooming training school (established 2023) I only train on a 1-1 or 1-3 ratio basis. What does this mean?
From time-to-time trainees will be working on your dogs (when agreed) along with my bath and drying helpers but only when I feel they are capable and ALWAYS when I am watching and guiding them fully.
I the owner and head stylist will always go over dogs at the end of training sessions for quality assurance.
(For exams & training purposes clients dogs may need to stay longer than usual times, it is up to the owner to inform the groomer at the time of BOOKING that they would NOT like their dog groomed by a trainee (please note dogs selected for training or exams will have to be well behaved, confident, groomed 6-8 weekly intervals and well maintained at home, dogs in correct breed standard trims for exams & this can be changed after the exam to suit your requirements by a professional stylist).
Dogs used for exams/ training purposes will receive a 10% discount on grooms.
Owners have 24hr to contact the salon if they are unhappy with a groom and it can be arranged of a free correction groom at the descension of the groomer.
Owners must confirm that:
Their pet is fit, healthy & fully vaccinated.
Owners agree that the groomer will not be held liable or responsible for irritation, abrasion, patchiness, or hair loss due to any pre-existing skin conditions, or as a result of the process of grooming, de matting, thinning, stripping or shaving or any mishap caused by owners’ non-disclosure of pet’s medical conditions or behaviour.
If a client’s dog bites or attempts to bite any person or pet, a muzzle may be used, or at the discretion of the groomer treatment may stop & clients will pay for the work done to that point & will pay full cost of all damages & expense their dog has caused.
If a client fails to adhere by the terms & conditions set as well as cancellation/lateness policy, it is agreed clients will pay extra costs due & potentially ban.
If a pet arrives harbouring any parasites owners accept the expense of clearing them.
If a pet’s health causes any concern, they give permission to the groomer to obtain veterinary advice & treatment at client’s expense.
Clients signing accept all the T&Cs and has read about training services I provide and agrees that staff or students may groom their dog or otherwise stated at the time of booking the request that their pet is NOT groomed by staff or students.
